Garmin v Cadbury

started as a joke between friends. Now it's a

community.

On 14 November, a group of runners will lace up and race from Hamilton to South Bank — free to enter, built by the people running it. No entry fees. Just a genuinely good community event that's growing every day.

We're looking for local businesses, like those below who have already jumped on board, who want to be part of this from the ground up.

WHY PARTNER WITH GVC

  • Real reach. Between the GvC channel and our founding creators, we're talking to a combined audience in the millions — Brisbane runners, mostly.

  • Featured across the board. Partners get shouted out across our accounts in the lead-up, on race day, and in the post-event wrap.

  • Face time with finishers. From the start line to the South Bank finish and the post-run coffee debrief, you're in front of the exact community you want to reach.

  • Get in early. This is Race 1. The businesses who partner now are the ones runners will remember as having been there from the start.

WHAT WE'RE AFTER

We're not asking for a cheque. We're asking for what you do best:

  • Product or vouchers for our finisher bags (every finisher gets one — first 30 get a bonus mystery item from a local brand)

  • A finish-line perk — coffee, food, recovery, whatever's in your wheelhouse

  • Merch or gear — caps, socks, bags, anything runners actually want

  • Venue or space for a pre- or post-race moment

One item, one gesture, one collab — whatever fits. It all adds up.
